Bertha L. “Betty” Bogaert was an avid learner with a particular passion for languages. In making a bequest to The Westfield Foundation (the “Bogaert Fund”), her priority was to create a lasting impact within Westfield. In her Will, she indicated that the gift should be held as an unrestricted fund, adding that it was her “wish that some portion of this bequest be used by the [Foundation] to benefit and enhance the study of languages at UNION COUNTY COLLEGE, in Cranford, New Jersey.
