The Westfield Foundation's purpose is to promote the betterment of the Westfield New Jersey community and the enhancement of the quality of life for all of its citizens.
Charitable funds, which are committed to meeting the needs of the people in the community.
Using resources wisely and efficiently, addressing key concerns of the community, responding to its emerging and changing needs, and sustaining its agencies and institutions.
Leadership to the community, serving as a catalyst in identifying problems and opportunities, and shaping effective responses to them.
Through the support of our community members throughout the years, The Westfield Foundation
has been able to award over $8 million in grant money.
The Keller Memorial Music Award for Excellence in Violin motivated me to pursue my interest in violin and pushed me to practice hard and audition for the NJ Youth Symphony Orchestra. The work of the foundation can inspire the youth of the community.Reva
The Innovation Classroom has not only provided space for multiple sections of an introductory engineering course, it has allowed the teacher to design a second course to leverage the state of the art features of the classroom. Students have access to a facility and materials that were not available to them prior to The Westfield Foundation funding and these students are now better prepared for STEM college coursework and careers.Westfield Public Schools
Thanks to The Westfield Foundation and their generosity, we were able to renovate the common areas of Peggy's House, the Center's Scotch Plains residence. These spaces have multiple uses for patients and families to enjoy holidays, special occasions, entertainment, activities, or even a quiet place to sit and enjoy the company of family and friends.Center for Hope Hospice & Palliative Care
A special thanks to The Westfield Foundation’s partial funding during the pandemic. Thanks to this funding we were able to continue programming four days a week during the pandemic which was essential to avoid the harmful effects of social isolation.JCC of Central New Jersey
CASA of Union County continues to be extremely grateful for the commitment by The Westfield Foundation to both our mission and the vulnerable youth we serve. Your partnership helps us do the work we -- and our tireless volunteer advocates -- do every day. Abuse doesn't take a holiday and isn't going anywhere, but through support from Westfield Foundation, we can continue to make a difference every day for the children depending on us and awaiting a safe and permanent home.CASA of Union County
