Honoring Young Lives Lost in Vietnam War

Westfield – Hundreds of community members attended the dedication of the new Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Westfield. The memorial remembers and honors the 11 Westfield residents who died while serving in the Vietnam War.  The memorial joins existing memorials for World War II, World War I, the Korean War and the Spanish-American War at the intersection of North Avenue and East Broad Street.

The Westfield Foundation was a lead sponsor for this project, providing a grant for $10,000 in September 2011.
