Foundation Announces 2Q 16 Grants, New Trustees

The Westfield Foundation is pleased to announce four recipients have been awarded almost $36,000 in grants this past quarter.  They include the Westfield Volunteer Rescue Squad, Summit Speech School, the Cranford Dramatic Club and Imagine.  Funds will be used for the purchase of new radios, a desktop computer and facility repairs.

The Foundation held its annual meeting in May.  During this meeting, three board trustees retired, after serving six years: Sal Caruana, Alice Fertig and Russell Finestein.  Three new community members were installed as trustees for 2016-17: Gil Chapman, Frank Isolde and Nancy Wolfe.

The Foundation has been giving to the community for 40 years!
